I love cooking and I love baking. I believe it all started when I made my first meal for my mother when I was twelve.  My mother worked two jobs to support my brothers and me and was always very tired.  

One Saturday afternoon, I asked my mom if I could make dinner for her. She agreed and let me prepare the entire meal by myself and then ate every bit of it. And when she did…. Oh my God, her smile!  It was a smile of pure happiness.  The kind of smile that makes you smile, makes you feel like you’ve shared something exceptional.

So, I've been chasing that smile ever since.  I’ve seen that smile on the faces of my children, my friends, and my community when I serve meals to those in need at my church. 

Now, I want to chase your smile. Will you let me make you smile?
